Nixodine is listed as "Generally Recognized as Safe" (GRAS) by the FDA. It should be kept out of reach of children and pets, and if it comes into contact with your eyes, you should rinse them immediately and thoroughly with water.
Nixodine is a bio-alternative to nicotine and, as such, doesn't fall within the FDA's regulatory charter. Therefore, it hasn't been FDA approved. It is not a tobacco product and contains no nicotine from any source. Nixodine is regulated under the Dietary and Supplements Act.
